Description
The HAWK C model “cut-to-length” temperature sensor is a type of sensor, often an RTD or thermocouple, that is designed to be easily shortened in the field using a standard tube cutter. This feature allows for quick replacement of failed sensors and minimizes downtime, as the sensor can be adjusted to the exact length needed at the installation site. It is primarily used as a temporary replacement for a standard industrial temperature sensor that has failed. It is recommended that this style temperature sensor should used as a temporary fix until a permanent replacement is supplied.
